RADEK KOPEĆ
„WHEN WRITING A GOOD SONG, REMEMBER ABOUT F SHARP CHORD.”
Not many of you know that Radek began his musical path at the age of 10, learning to play the saxophone. Half a year later he played a fairly demanding concert. He became interested in the guitar a little later, at the age of 17, after watching Free at the Isle of Wight on video.
From that moment on, through various bands (albums with Colt – From the Fridge – or Suchi Pion), a six-year stay in the UK where he worked, among others, as a session musician, up to his return to Poland and cooperation with Magda Bożyk – this time as a bass guitarist – as well as composing music for television and films.
He constantly creates without stylistic restrictions, trends or requirements. The common denominator of his work is the creative freedom he values most.

GUITARIST
„After 20 years of playing the guitar you can find out that there are different scales of it and pick ups mounted. I just took guitar and started to play it.
Now I know it’s not just a guitar.”

COMPOSER
„Composing is creatng of reality within the fantasy”

PIANO
„I play on piano occasionally, all the sad songs I write on it, it seems like that”

SONG WRITING & SINGING
„I was forced to sing as we couldn’t find a decent singer. Decent singer doesn’t have to write decent lyrics – I have to.”
